The Mundane

We celebrate Edward Weston as one of the great photographers of the 20th century. His body of work includes Portraiture and studies of the natural world. He is known for a series called “Pepper”. Of which “Pepper No. 30” Is considered a master piece.

At what point does the mundane become art?

The mundane is the world around us. We live in the mundane on a daily basis. Warhol was known for Pop Art. Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the United Kingdom  and the United States during the late 1940s to the mid- to late-1950s.

Who calls the shots?

Art can be an endless pursuit of acceptance or a statement of rebellion. Those that break the rules are often ostracized and marginalized. But in the Underground, There are no rules.
